Went to the Weisman Art Museum yesterday. I alway enjoy museums, although I have trouble going with people, because I want to stop and read every item description. It wasn't the most amazing museum I've ever been in (still counting Hôtel des Invalides in Paris as that), but man, I'm almost certain I've never seen a glass fish that big.

Two bits of semi-interesting life news. I managed to snag a new phone, and it's a pretty great one actually. A combination of timing, and the fact that our carrier had shaved a huge chunk off its price made it an easy pick in the end. And the nice thing is, it's a modern flagship phone! So I've finally got all those things like wireless charging and good connections and processing power so I can yell at my phone in the car to change to a song I like better. It's great, it's like living in the future.
As for not exactly living in the future, I seem to have cracked one of my back teeth pretty badly. It's something I really need to get fixed soon. Thankfully through some help, this year I'm on a good health plan. It makes a lot more things available to me now than before. A variety of things makes that possible but I'll spare you the details. But at the same time, it can be difficult for me to go out and get care. I don't like to think about aches and pains and just would rather try and bear them than disrupt myself with a doctor's visit. Let alone, I don't like feeling like a burden. But I suppose I'm at the point where I need more constant vigilance over these things.
